Traveler’s Fallacy

Traveler's FallacyTo look forward to something, is to have hope. Traveler’s fallacy is the idea that going somewhere or doing something different leads to a better situation. In NYC, the transit system is used predominately to go from home to work, and back. Those train rides you take will hopefully lead to a train ride where you don’t have to work. Cautious optimism is key to having a grasp on reality, yet being able to succeed in achieving those hopes and dreams.

  1. Love this photo and the sentiment. I feel the same way about transit every morning but it does at least serve as a buffer between my work and non-work selves.
